The company was built in the Canberra region and has serviced both private and government clients in the domestic and commercial fields over two decades.

Errol Neish, Managing Director, has been a qualified tradesman since 1976 and a master tradesman since 1981. He is a Clerk of Works and his experience includes management of ACT Urban Services housing maintenance and bridge and road management, domestic renovations and repairs and commercial rebuilds and refurbishments as well as new homes and technical advisory services to the ACT and surrounding areas. Acton Building won the Housing Industry Association Awards for best bathroom in 1996 in the ACT. Errol holds an ACT and NSW Builders License.

Acton Building has a strong workforce and work ethic. Acton Building Pty Ltd has a commitment to ongoing training that includes continual support for apprenticeships, continual development for tradesman and network support for contactors. All Acton trained apprentices and tradesmen are multi-skilled and assessed on an ongoing basis for the highest standard of service delivery. Contractors are also assessed on an ongoing basis for their quality delivery and adherence to the client service requirements of Acton Building Pty Ltd. They are also required to meet insurance requirements and quality standards.
